Supportive Housing

Housing has always been an unmet need in the HIV/AIDS community. Having a safe, secure, and affordable place to call home is a giant step towards improved health and well-being.

Through the vision of our Executive Director and the help of community partners, such as Matrix Affordable Homes for the Disadvandaged Inc., United Way of Guelph and Wellington County, and Ontario Trillium Foundation, the need has become a singular reality. The foundation has begun with this lone residence for building a strong, network of residences for people living with HIV/AIDS.

This is our house......Abercrombie Place

Our Place

The residence is an affordable unit consisting of four (4) bedrooms with shared living, dining, and washroom facilities. This unit is based on the Cooperative Living Model where residents and housing staff develop a plan, and work towards identified goals and independent living.

Create a stable living environment which will promote improved health status, community involvement, life skill management, and increased capacity for people living with HIV/AIDS to return to work and independent living.
