The Study:
We are conducting a study to examine how food security affects health outcomes in people with HIV in Ontario. This study is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. We are looking for 1200 HIV+ participants from Ontario who are receiving services from and AIDS Service Organization. This study builds off of the success of our previous studies: Positive Spaces Health Places (PSHP) and Employment Change and Health Outcomes (ECHO) in HIV/AIDS. Participation:
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete one questionnaire and a 24-hour dietary recall. You will be reimbursed $40 for your participation to help cover your expenses to participate.
Privacy:
Your identity will be kept strictly confidential. Your participation in the study will be for research purposes only and will not affect the services you receive from an AIDS Service Organization or the medical care you receive in a clinic or hospital.
